Y SENEDD

Our SENEDD represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.

It helps develop children as Enterprising, creative contributors who are ready to play a full part in life and work, and Ethical, informed citizens who are ready to be citizens of Wales and the world (The Four Purposes).

Senedd Priority 1- DIGITAL

Autumn term 

After completing our Sponsored Walk Fundraising event we have now ordered new resources to develop children's digital skills. 

The Senedd members visited Reception and taught them how to use all of their new digital resources in the Autumn half term. 

Some of our new resources for the Early Years were...

• Walkie Talkie's to develop speaking and listening skills

• Rechargeable Stage 1 Remote Control Clever Cats for basic programming skills 

• Rechargeable Easi-Cars for early programming skills, and cause and effect

• Handheld Microscopes to develop Science enquiry and observation skills in the outdoor area

Spring Term

The Senedd researched and learnt about Internet Safety and together with a teacher, they created a presentation for INTERNET SAFETY day which will be delivered by the Senedd children in our whole school assembly.
