Ms E Croft and Mrs C Price both completed their Level 1 and 2 Makaton Workshop Training in 2024.
About Makaton
Lots of children and adults use Makaton symbols and signs, either as their main method of communication or as a way to support speech. Makaton has been shown to be useful for all children which can include those who struggle with understanding concepts, those who have poor literacy skills, and those with English as an Additional Language. By using Makaton, children can take a more active part in school life, because communication and language are the key to everything we do and learn.
