Rydym yn tyfu a dysgu gyda’n gilydd er mwyn cael dyfodol disglair.

We grow and learn together for a bright future.

Criw Cymraeg

Y Criw Cymraeg (L-R): Seren M, Olivia, Jonah, Teddy, Seren E, Cadi, Cole, Isaac

Croeso i dudalen y Criw Cymraeg!

We have been very busy this year, getting to know our new headtecher and planning for the terms.

The Criw meet once a half term, sharing progress on what they have been up to as their role within the classes, discuss what thinga are going well, which need to be improved and how I can help them to improve Welsh across the school.

The Criw Cymraeg work with Miss Hughes on a Monday afternoon to do a Welsh assembly, where there is a different Welsh theme every week. This could be about current events, people and places, songs, stories and much more. We also use this assembly time to improve our language skills by introducing the 'Brawddeg yr Wythnos' (Welsh phrase of the week) that we try and say more often across the school for that week.

We are aiming to get back to the excellent standard of Welsh we had pre Covid-19, with a focus not only on the language, but on the pupils feeling a sense of Welsh identity and belonging.
